The IT Specialist is the first point of contact for employees requiring IT support. This role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, addressing day?to?day technical requests, and ensuring a positive end?user experience. The IT Specialist configures and troubleshoots PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, while maintaining responsiveness to user needs.

This position plays a key role in the IT Service Desk by managing incoming requests, resolving common hardware and software issues, and escalating complex incidents to senior team members when necessary. The IT Specialist helps ensure smooth IT operations by keeping accurate documentation of issues and contributing to team knowledge sharing.

The IT Specialist can expect to focus in the following areas :

End?User Support & Customer Service

• Serve as the primary point of contact for IT requests via help desk, phone, email, and in?person support.
• Deliver professional, courteous, and timely assistance to end users.
• Diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, and network?related issues.
• Escalate unresolved or complex issues to Specialist II or Lead, ensuring proper follow?up.
• Provide basic training and guidance to end users on systems and applications.
