Regional Contract Lead
Kimley-Horn is looking for a Regional Contract Lead to join our Nashville, TN office! This is not a remote position. Responsibilities include coordinating the activities of contract reviewers, managing the flow of contracts, providing training, and helping resolve complex contract issues. Review, negotiate, and help resolve a significant number of contracts for both public and private sector clients. Work with professional staff to address contracting needs across offices, while ensuring there are appropriate resources and addressing specific problem areas. Organize and manage contract activities that result in high quality reviews, clear advice to project managers on how to proceed, and dedicated partnership to resolve issues. Coordinate with the General Counsel as appropriate on individual issues and the overall quality of contract reviews.
Qualifications include 3+ years of experience in a related role, relevant experience related to reviewing and resolving contracts (Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry preferred), excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, a strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines, a detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Desired qualifications include knowledge of AEC private and public sector contracts and prior experience in the AEC Industry.
