Key Job Details - OR RN Travel Contract Location : Patchogue, NY (Zip : 11772) - Long Island healthcare jobs Facility Setting : General Operating Room, Trauma Level II Contract Type : Travel Nursing Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 1 / 2025 - End : 3 / 2 / 2026) Shift : Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts / week (07 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Coverage : 1-2 weekends / month (based on patient volume) On-Call : Optional Estimated Weekly Salary : $2310-$2370 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience Proficiency in vascular, orthopedic, and robotic surgical cases Active New York RN license (required) BLS certification (required); ACLS and CNOR certifications (preferred) Experience with EPIC electronic health records (preferred) Community hospital and Trauma Level II experience (required) Prior travel nurse experience (required) COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (required; no exemptions) Ability to provide two managerial references Reliable and dependable; limited time-off requests Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities Circulate and scrub for diverse surgical procedures : vascular, orthopedic, and robotic surgeries Deliver patient care for pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Collaborate with CRNA and anesthesiologist teams Utilize Omnicell medication systems and EPIC charting Maintain patient safety and infection control standards Participate in scheduled weekend coverage Demonstrate flexibility and commitment throughout assignment Experience the benefits of Long Island nursing jobs while making a difference in Patchogue's healthcare community.
