Job descriptionCertification by ARRT in radiology and nuclear medicine and / or Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) required. Current and valid Louisiana credentials by the Louisiana Board of Radiology is required as a Radiologic Technologist and a Nuclear Med Tech - or- can also be licensed as only a Nuclear Med Tech.
Responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures and related techniques producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Educational and / or Professional Qualifications :
1. Graduate of a school of nuclear medicine tech program.
Previous Experience :
1. Prior experience preferred.
Other Special Training / Skills :
- Ability to operate nuclear medicine equipment, manage patient case, follow oral and written instructions.
