Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze and interpret state laws, regulations, and legislative changes.
- Analyze client processes and procedures to separate policy from procedure.
- Identify operational and system impacts of new or updated legislation.
- Develop clear policies, procedures, and business rules based on regulatory requirements.
- Document business processes, workflows, and requirements.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, business, and IT teams to validate requirements.
- Communicate policy interpretations and impacts to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications :
8+ years of experience in policy analysis, legislative review, or business analysis.Strong ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable business rules.Excellent written communication and documentation skills.Experience with business process and requirements documentation.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with state agencies or legislative environments.Familiarity with regulatory compliance or policy development.
