Job Overview

Winn Underground Services LLC is seeking motivated and dependable Ground Hands to support our Field Operations team. As a Ground Hand, you will work closely with Drill Operators, Locators, and other crew members to assist with underground drilling and utility projects. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals eager to join the construction industry, gain hands-on experience, and grow with a rapidly expanding company.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of job sites.

Support drill operators and locators in daily tasks.

Handle and organize tools, materials, and safety equipment.

Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company and OSHA standards.

Perform manual labor, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.

Follow all safety procedures and report any hazards to the supervisor.

Learn and apply proper techniques for underground construction work.

Assist with equipment inspections and basic maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

No prior experience required-paid training provided.

Valid driver's license required (CDL is a plus, but not required).

Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Team-oriented with good communication skills.

Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in all weather conditions.
