Insurance Specialist Registration Denials

POSITION SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES

The Insurance Specialist is responsible for resolving registration-related payer denials which are housed in Epic account work queues. On a daily basis, the insurance specialist will utilize payer guidelines to correct the account and appeal the denial.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

A high school graduate or equivalent is required. A combined minimum of (2) years' experience in registration. Must have knowledge of Texas Medicaid, Medicare, Commercial insurance programs. Must possess strong interpersonal and communications skills.
