Summary :

The Certified Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in enhancing patient care by performing a variety of key services, including accurate data entry for patient registration and insurance verification. This position requires the ability to demonstrate sound judgment and to communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare professionals, insurance companies, and other third-party payers, all while exemplifying a professional and compassionate demeanor.

Responsibilities :

• Exhibit the competencies of OneCHRISTUS : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Support physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in delivering exceptional medical care.
• Ensure accurate data entry for patient charges, registration, and account updates.
• Conduct thorough insurance verification and maintain accurate statistics.
• Assist in scheduling patient appointments and managing communications with providers and patients regarding benefits and changes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.
