Location : Martinsburg, WV 25401 (West Virginia healthcare jobs)\n

Facility Setting : Acute Care Hospital, Main Operating Room (OR)\n

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 21 / 2025 – End : 2 / 20 / 2026)\n

Shift : Monday–Friday, 9 : 00am–5 : 30pm (8-hour shifts)\n

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week\n

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2240–$2400\n

Call : Weekly and weekend call rotations; additional call as needed (holiday coverage as call)\n

Charting System : EPIC EMR\n

Scrubs : Provided by facility\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (open to candidates awaiting West Virginia licensure)\n

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA required)\n

Minimum 2-3 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative nursing experience)\n

At least 2-3 previous travel nurse assignments preferred\n

Ortho / Neuro surgical experience preferred\n

Ability to respond to call within 20 minutes\n

Must provide an unexpired copy of driver’s license\n

\n\nOperating Room Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

Circulate and assist in a wide range of surgical procedures (excluding open heart; frequent neuro spine, total joints, open fractures, general, and ENT cases)\n

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n

Participate in weekly and weekend call rotations as scheduled\n

Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC EMR\n

Assist with room turnover and uphold a sterile surgical environment\n

Engage in a comprehensive orientation process (3 shifts)\n

Adhere to hospital and unit policies and procedures\n
