Job Summary The Advanced Mechanic for Armored Vehicles plays a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and performance of these complex machines. This position requires an individual with a strong understanding of mechanical systems, fire controls, suspension, steering, and controls.
Main Responsibilities Perform repairs and maintenance on the Bradley fighting vehicle, including anti-aircraft and armored tanks.
Troubleshoot problems with suspension, steering, and controls to minimize downtime and optimize vehicle performance.
Conduct routine maintenance tasks to guarantee the vehicle's efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications U.S. Citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card.
Between 17 to 34 years old.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Meet the specified tattoo guidelines.
No major law violations.
No significant medical concerns.
Certifications and Training Nationally recognized certifications available.
Basic Training : 10 weeks.
Advanced Individual Training : 12 weeks.
ASVAB Score : Mechanical Maintenance (MM) - 104 or General Technical (GT) - 90.
