Job description

Description

Healthcare United is seeking a BE / BC Family Medicine Physician to join a health system, 1 hour from Boston, MA.

We are currently offering a $30,000 sign on bonus for this role!

Responsibilities :

  • Provides primary care services to patients of all ages
  • Collaborative model with nurse practitioners and clinical psychologists
  • Provides / manages patient care, including :

physical examinations

  • evaluations
  • assessments
  • diagnoses and treatment for a specified patient population
  • Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.
  • Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.
  • Participate in On Call coverage.

    • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO)
  • Board certification / eligibility in specialty.
  • ACLLS or CPR / AED certified.
  • Current licensure by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine
  • Current DBA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance licensure for prescriptive authority
  • Eligible for unrestricted health center at facilities utilized by the health center
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
