What You'll Do :

  • Monitor and manage access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the healthcare facility.
  • Verify identification and credentials of individuals seeking access to restricted areas within the location.
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while documenting and reporting all relevant details.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or breaches.
  • Observe and report security-related irregularities such as property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Collaborate with facility staff and / or local authorities as needed during emergency response activities.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
