• Location : Rugby, ND 58368 (North Dakota travel nursing jobs)\n
• Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – Med / Surg Unit\n
• Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (October 20, 2025 – January 19, 2026)\n
• Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week\n
• Shifts : 12-hour rotating shifts (days / nights), including weekends and holidays\n
• Unit Size : 18 beds (staffing for up to 10 beds)\n
• Patient Ratios : Typically 1 : 6 or less\n
• Charting System : Epic EMR\n
• Estimated Weekly Pay : $1860 - $2000\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota or compact state (required for travel RN jobs)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience\n
• BLS certification (required)\n
• ACLS and NIH Stroke Education (preferred)\n
• IV therapy experience (required)\n
• Ability to interpret cardiac strips (Phillips monitors)\n
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (preferred)\n\nMed / Surg RN Responsibilities\n
• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients with diverse diagnoses, including pneumonia, post-op, UTI, rehab, pain management, fractures, and dementia\n
• Administer medications and IV therapies, including titrating drips (e.g., Cardizem)\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, including charge nurses, nurse aides, and telemedicine providers\n
• Support the ER as backup RN when needed\n
• Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and educate patients on respiratory treatments\n
• Document all care accurately in Epic EMR\n
