We’re hiring a Configuration Manager to lead product definition, audit compliance, and part traceability across complex engineering programs. If you’re passionate about structured data, version control, and making sure every part has a purpose and a paper trail—this is your kind of role.
You’ll be the central authority on how parts, subassemblies, and platforms are reused, revised, and controlled. This isn’t a tooling-heavy position—it’s about owning the product structure, enforcing standards, and keeping everything audit-ready across engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.
What You’ll Do
Maintain structured relationships between parts, subassemblies, and top-level platforms
Own the item master for designed and procured parts across multiple programs
Ensure all product data is version-controlled, baselined, and fully traceable
Govern how items are reused or revised across configurations
Validate MBOM alignment with product configuration baselines
Oversee configuration changes in line with EIA-649, ASME Y14.5, ISO 9001, and internal standards
Coordinate release schedules to avoid version conflicts and divergence
Maintain digital records to support audit readiness and compliance
Collaborate with PLM and CAD teams to ensure systems support configuration governance
What You Bring
5+ years in configuration management or product data governance
Deep understanding of product structure, interchangeability, and configuration rules
Experience with engineering change control, drawing versioning, and part release workflows
Familiarity with standards like EIA-649, ASME Y14.5, ISO 9001, or MIL-STD equivalents
Hands-on experience with PLM / PDM systems (Teamcenter preferred)
Comfortable navigating engineering and manufacturing BOMs
Strong documentation, audit prep, and version traceability skills
Confidence enforcing standards across engineering, supply chain, and program teams
Why You’ll Love It Here
100% paid medical for employees, 80% for dependents
Dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
Generous PTO, paid holidays, and parental leave
Competitive salary + performance bonuses
401(k) plan + stock options
Free lunch and unlimited snacks / drinks in-office
