Your role as an Intern in the Aerospace Defense & Marine Business Unit, will help us make the connections that move the world forward by :
- Supporting the development and execution of strategic operations priorities
- Driving projects that contribute to long term operations enablement of revenue growth
- Developing plans to bring best-in-class operating practices into AD&M
Responsibilities
Analyze strategic operations scenarios and trade-offs including Make vs. Buy decisions, footprint location decisions, and project prioritization tradeoffsAnalyze past and current operations performance trends to determine priorities for long term strategic actionResearch trends in operations and supply chain including benchmarking best practices, emerging technologies, and process innovationsAssist with preparation of management presentations on strategy topicsSupport project documentation, and facilitate communication across the operations teamYou're the kind of person we are looking for if you :
Have earned a high school diploma or GEDAre currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a BA / BS or MA / MS Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Related Major from an accredited college or universityor have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered)Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project in supply chain, manufacturing, operations management, industrial engineering, or continuous improvementDemonstrate strong written and oral communication skillsLike to creatively solve problems using data and analyticsAre intellectually curious and a self-starterDue to ITAR restrictions at many of our locations, candidates with US Citizenship are requiredValues : Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork
