Travel Perfusionist - $5,600 per week

Prime Staffing is seeking a travel Perfusionist for a travel job in Atlanta, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Perfusionist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours Employment Type : Travel Job Title : Perfusionist Location : Atlanta, GA | Schedule : Day shift, 5x8 (06 : 00–19 : 00) Job Description : Operate and manage extracorporeal circulation equipment during cardiac surgery and related procedures. Perform cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB), aortic and femoral cannulation, valve replacements, and CABG support . Manage cardioplegia delivery, hypothermic circulatory arrest, and temperature regulation throughout procedures. Utilize and monitor mechanical assist devices including ECLS and IABP . Ensure adequacy of perfusion, blood conservation, and patient monitoring during surgeries. Conduct setup, priming, and troubleshooting of perfusion equipment per safety and quality standards. Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to provide safe, efficient, and effective patient care. Maintain accurate charting and documentation in Epic to support compliance and continuity of care. Requirements : Active Georgia state license. BLS certification required. Minimum 1 year of perfusionist experience (first-time travelers accepted). Proficiency in cardiac perfusion procedures and use of extracorporeal support devices.
