What The Role Is

The Senior Technical Designer will work with the Technical Studio Director on a daily and per project basis. They should leverage industry experience and technical insight to support projects from concept through implementation. They are strong communicators and work with teams to maintain scope and schedule. This role involves preparing or modifying designs for construction projects, including creating imagery, floor plans, storefront designs, fixture design, product placement, and more.

Other Responsibilities

• Execute various tasks within multiple projects, such as design development drawings and construction documentation.
• Develop a full set of technical drawings for large and small scale buildouts (2,000 sf to 20,000 sf).
• Document preliminary programs, space layouts, conduct code reviews, and coordinate with consultants and construction administration.
• Coordinate work progress and perform work reviews with QA / QC checklists.
• Participate in client presentations and assist in presenting team's work.
• Visualize technical drawings using computer-aided software.
• Perform additional research and creative tasks as needed.
