RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Calibrate and measure upright cylindrical tanks, horizontal tanks, spheres, trucks, barges, and ships using various methods in line with API Standards.
- Conduct pipeline surveys to ensure accurate data collection.
- Verify the accuracy of measuring equipment through routine checks.
- Inspect equipment visually for visible defects and ensure proper maintenance of calibration.
- Gain proficiency in using electronic calibration tools and maintain up-to-date knowledge of these technologies.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and Excel to import data, review, and prepare charts.
- Document all measurements in the appropriate field reports.
- Coordinate with customers to schedule appointments for calibration and inspection services.
- Adhere to safety protocols outlined in the Global Safety Manual.
- Participate in required training and pass examinations related to petroleum, chemical, and gas inspection, including Right-to-Know training.
QUALIFICATIONS :
High School Diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Calibration Technician.Familiarity with measuring equipment (e.g., Leica Total Station, Rotating Laser Level, Leica Distometer, engineers’ level, theodolite, strapping tapes, tape measure, surveyors’ rods) is beneficial but not mandatory.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel for data management and chart creation.BENEFITS :
