Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager will take full ownership of multiple medium to large projects, leading day-to-day execution, project controls, financial performance, and client communications. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings deep expertise in complex building systems. Experience with design-build delivery, occupied renovations, and sophisticated MEP systems is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, design teams, and key stakeholders.Partner with the estimating team during bidding and preconstruction phases.Lead, mentor, and manage project teams, including project managers, engineers, superintendents, and interns.Develop and grow emerging team members through training and hands-on guidance.Oversee full project life cycle : budgeting, scheduling, procurement, execution, closeout.Ensure project success by meeting or exceeding safety, quality, schedule, and financial targets.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to document interpretation, conflicts, and errors.Maintain a detail-oriented, proactive approach while managing multiple simultaneous projects.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.Ideally 15 years of commercial construction project management experience, ideally with projects ranging from $5M to $25M.Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor 3–5 project managers or engineers.Expertise with complex building systems and design-build delivery.Proven track record managing projects from RFQ through final closeout.Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.Proficiency with web-based project management software (Procore preferred).Experience with project scheduling software.Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of construction.Compensation & Benefits
