About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about transforming customer stories into high-impact video using the latest AI technologies? Do you thrive on experimenting with new tools to generate content, streamline production, and scale assets globally—while maintaining a consistently high bar for quality and creativity?

Join Ellucian’s Marketing team as a Customer Video Production Manager. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end creation of customer video content with a primary emphasis on AI-driven production and editing. From pitch decks and testimonials to tailored ABM videos, you’ll use platforms like Synthesia, Runway, Imaginario, and other AI tools to bring stories to life at scale.

Positioned within the Customer Impact team, you’ll collaborate with customers, manage creative vendors, and leverage AI to deliver diverse, data-driven, and personalized video assets that power sales enablement, marketing campaigns, and executive storytelling.

A portfolio of both traditional and AI-generated video work is required.

Where You Will Make an Impact

Lead AI-First Customer Video Production

  • Generate and edit video content using AI tools—owning scripts, voiceovers, animations, scene design, and final production.
  • Manage the intake process to ensure every video aligns with campaign goals and customer narratives.

Content Generation & Storytelling

  • Use AI to create or suggest scripts, storyboards, and shot / scene plans from pitch decks, customer data, or prompts.
  • Transform interviews and customer insights into compelling narratives that resonate with higher-ed audiences.
  • Editing & Post-Production with AI

  • Automate editing tasks including cutting, color correction, transitions, subtitles, and effects.
  • Apply AI-driven tools to enhance polish and maintain consistent brand standards.
  • Animation, Visual Effects & Virtual Sets

  • Generate animations, dynamic scenes, and visual effects through AI algorithms.
  • Leverage AI for scene composition and virtual set design, minimizing reliance on traditional shoots.
  • Voice & Sound Design

  • Create synthetic voiceovers, background music, and sound effects tailored to each video.
  • Ensure clarity, accessibility, and localization across all outputs.
  • Personalization & Scale

  • Dynamically tailor videos for specific audiences, institutions, or campaigns using AI.
  • Automate production of derivatives such as highlight reels, localized cuts, and persona-specific snippets.
  • Collaboration & Governance

  • Partner directly with customers and advocates to capture authentic voices while navigating approvals and compliance.
  • Manage vendor partners for specialized work.
  • Establish workflows for approvals, storage, and discoverability to maximize reuse and internal adoption.
  • Measurement & Optimization

  • Track usage, engagement, adoption, and ROI of video assets across campaigns, events, and sales cycles.
  • Continuously refine based on data and AI-driven insights.
  • What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years in video production, digital content creation, or customer storytelling (agency or in-house).
  • Proficiency with AI video generation, editing, and management tools including Vyond, Synthesia, Runway, ElevenLabs, DaVinci, and Imaginario, with openness to emerging platforms.
  • Strong video editing and production instincts; ability to oversee creative partners while also being hands-on.
  • Experience producing both scalable global assets and customized, institution-specific videos.
  • Portfolio demonstrating both AI-generated and traditional video projects (required).
  • Strong narrative instincts to transform interviews and case studies into compelling stories.
  • Proven project management skills with ability to manage multiple productions simultaneously.
  • Comfort working directly with customers and executives in sensitive, high-visibility contexts.
  • Collaborative, cross-functional approach; excellent communication skills across Sales, Product, and Marketing.
  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS or higher-ed marketing a plus.
  • Data-driven mindset; able to measure video impact through KPIs such as number of videos produced, internal usage, campaign engagement, and pipeline influence.
