Civil Engineer / Project Manager

Simonton Engineering is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer (P.E.) ready to advance into leadership. This full-time position includes responsibility for both design and project management, with a clear path to become the Regional Senior Engineer for our Hinesville, Georgia office within approximately 18 months.

This role is ideal for an engineer who wants autonomy, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to shape the direction and growth of a local office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and design a variety of civil engineering projects, including :
• Water and sewer system improvements
• Roadway and transportation projects
• Land development
• Parks and recreation facilities
• Coordinate work with both local and remote designers.
• Provide technical guidance to field personnel and construction project managers.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, municipalities, and public agencies.
• Prepare engineering reports, construction plans, permitting documents, cost estimates, and specifications.
• Support office operations and contribute to long-term growth in preparation for a future management role.
