Perform feasibility assessments, create requirements, manage projects, and integrate and test technical solutions for software. Perform deployment of software updates on cloud platform comprised of Linux OS, BIOS / firmware, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Calico, Ceph, Maria DB, and other software components. Apply knowledge across Linux, KVM, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Containers, and Cloud Infrastructure platforms and monitor the server Infrastructure. Apply trouble-shooting and analytical skills in Systems Administration of Linux, Cloud, OpenStack, and Kubernetes environment. Work on operations and maintenance of OpenStack modules. Apply knowledge of concepts including High Availability, DRS, Fault Tolerance, Scalability, Reliability, and shared resources. Create, review, approve, and implement changes in NC server environment. Work on restoration of applications / services in NC infrastructure from hardware / OpenStack / OS perspective in outage / service degradation scenarios. Utilize Python & shell scripting. Work on deployment of NC Server infrastructure including Linux, OpenStack, and Kubernetes. Apply knowledge of CI / CD Pipeline in Jenkins and GitHub. Coordinate with OS vendors, development teams, and production support teams for root cause analysis and configuration changes, Coordinate with hardware vendors for faulty hardware replacement. Apply experience in Dell and HP x 86 based Hardware Break / fix. Utilize Nagios, Prometheus, and Grafana.
