Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Chicago, IL 60615 (Bronzeville) Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Facility : Level 1 Trauma Center Start Date : December 9, 2025 End Date : March 10, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07 : 00 - 15 : 30) Hours per Week : 40 On-Call : One 12-hour weekend shift per month (Saturday or Sunday, 7A-7P or 7P-7A) Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2620-$2690 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand upon submission) Current RN certification Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience Level 1 Trauma Center experience required Proficient in both scrub and circulate roles Experience in Ortho, Ortho Trauma, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery required Preferred : Experience in Neurosurgery (crani and spine), Open Heart / Thoracic, Ophthalmology, ENT, Bariatric, and Gynecology Must complete all documentation and onboarding requirements prior to start date OR RN Responsibilities Deliver perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center operating room Scrub and circulate for a wide range of surgical procedures, including orthopedic, trauma, vascular, urology, and general surgeries Participate in on-call rotation (one 12-hour weekend shift per month) Float to other healthcare units within a 50-mile radius as needed, supporting a collaborative care model Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures Work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care Apply now to take the next step in your travel nursing career with this exciting Operating Room Registered Nurse job in Chicago, IL!
