WE ARE

Renewal by Andersen of Central, Virginia & Roanoke is looking for an Events / Retail Team Lead to join its growing team. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced, energetic, deadline-driven environment. This is also an opportunity for the right candidate to become part of a passionate, close-knit, and driven team. This position is in our Richmond office located on Deep Rock Road in the West End of Richmond.

YOUR ROLE

  • Manage the assigned team to achieve overall goals of the department.

Maintain a safe and productive environment for the team.

Coach and train event marketers to achieve the retail goal of appointments set, leads issued and demos per shift.

  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and order in the office and in the field.
  • Make sure that the team has all the necessary equipment.
  • Maintain condition of the team and equipment
  • Assist with setup and takedown of events safely, efficiently and in a manner which best protects our equipment.
  • Maintain top quality booth appearance at all events.
  • Complete all site visit follow-ups each weekend for review with manager.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to fit event supplies safely in vehicle.
  • Achieve overall revenue goals of the department by supporting the Event Manager
  • Make sure that all lead information is accurately entered into the CRM.

  • Make sure that all possible events that meet our qualifications are booked.
  • Maintain vendor relationships.
  • Meet or exceed event appointment and demo goals.
  • Spend 50% of shift coaching and training your teammates.

    Lead by example through diligent appointment setting

  • Make sure that each employee meets script requirements.
  • Communicate effectively to Event Manager for scheduling with lowest performing marketers for training and coaching.
  • Set fully qualified appointments. Achieve an 85% demo rate or higher.
  • Confirm a need for window and / or door replacement with installation for 3 or more units.

  • Set the expectation for a 60-90-minute consultation.
  • Ensure that all homeowners will be present for consultation.
  • Ensure that all lead information is accurate and legible.
  • Actively engage and reach out to all event attendees within proximity of the booth.
  • Smile, be friendly and outgoing.

  • Participate in our politely aggressive culture.
  • Ask questions and listen critically to homeowners.
  • Use excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ensure that all company timelines and policies are upheld.
  • Provide effective communication throughout the department.

  • Share improvement opportunities with management.
  • Be on time for all shifts.
  • Achieve a 40% cancellation rate or lower.
  • Ensure a positive and professional working relationship with the ISC.

  • Always maintain professionalism.

  • WHAT YOU BRING

  • Willingness to learn Renewal by Andersen's product and processes.
  • 1-3 years' experience leading teams in an Events / Retail Capacity.
  • Demonstrated problem solving / opportunity identification skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office including, Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with a clean driving record.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a management role required.

  • 1-3 years of experience in company / department budgeting, scheduling, and reports analysis.
  • Be able to lift up-to 30 lbs.

  • WHAT WE OFFER

  • $43,888 annually, a 40-hour work week is expected, paid bi-weekly. Mandatory 5-day work week and weekends required.
  • In addition to your base salary, we offer a compensation plan based on performance, you are eligible every month.

  • PTO, you will earn 12 days in your 1st year and start your employment with 2 flex days (restrictions apply)
