Regional Sales Manager - Southern California (Dialysis / CKD)
Job Summary
This position is responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with healthcare providers, and expanding our market presence within the Southern California region. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the renal marketplace including the dialysis and chronic kidney disease (CKD) markets, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to work independently while achieving ambitious targets.
Responsibilities
- Sell laboratory services for CKD, dialysis and transplant / post-transplant testing to hospitals, clinics, and other potential partners within the United States and potentially abroad
- Establish, maintain, and strengthen client relationships at appropriate levels. Generate and deliver qualified opportunities through cold calling, lead generation, networking, and strategic partnerships
- Showcase Ascend Clinicals capabilities to potential clients and differentiate Ascend Clinical from competitors
- Develop and maintain actionable account plans
- Create and evaluate quotations for services and provide inputs to ensure client and company requirements are met
- Provide input on business plans and market vision through desk research (legislation, market demand, trends and developments, competitor analysis)
- Maintain face-to-face contact with customers and develop multi-level, cross-functional relationships with key customers
- Responsible for opportunity management and accurate pipeline forecasting
- Collaborate with Ascend leadership to identify and win projects and provide cross-functional support to other departments as required
- Own accountability for delivering to client needs and timeliness
Qualifications
Understanding of the renal market and ability to explain and sell to prospective clients.
