We're looking for an analytically-minded project manager who can help organize and inspire an organization of over 150 experienced and dedicated data professionals including Data Scientists, Analysts, Product Managers, Project and Process Managers, and Executive Support.

As a Senior Associate, Data Project Management at Capital One, you will drive clarity in our integration-focused projects for Retail Bank's Data, Decisions, and AI team. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company's bottom line. You will take on important and exciting responsibility from day one, working with key data and AI stakeholders across the company. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, highly collaborative, experienced project manager who has an existing portfolio of successful projects, particularly in platform and data migrations, communications plans, and platform decommissioning. This person has experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub. Your ability to create effective project dashboards and email communications is essential to this scope. This role requires problem solving, organization, critical & analytical thinking, and collaboration on measuring success.

What you'll do :

• Provide unambiguous project management support for our data integration work as part of the Discover + Capital One merger
• Assist our Product and Tech teams in providing clear reporting and risk escalation for our program plan
• Turn your existing interest in data and project management into subject matter expertise!

McLean, VA : $94,600 - $107,900 for Sr. Project Manager Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
