About This Role

As a Controls Service Field Engineer, you will help advance ALC's business through helping expand our Aftermarket Services on advanced systems. We are looking for a team member who is self-motivated, detail oriented, customer focused, and acts as a role model for other field engineers. You will work to solve complex problems, lead the training of less experienced Field Service Engineers, and serve as a contact in the field as a product and technical expert.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide site-specific training to owners / operators on the complete system.
• Provide solutions to complex system problems and lead others on how to resolve problems.
• Local contact for technical issues, may coach and resolve issues either on site or through remote coaching.
• Perform system maintenance on field controllers, servers and workstations and field hardware.
• Communicate issues and recommend system enhancements, upgrades, and / or repairs.
• Maintains feedback of equipment scheduling and modifications needed.
• Manage assigned work to exceed customer's time and quality expectations.
• Communicate and document the status and details of the project with the customer.
• Provide site-specific training to owners / operators on the upgrades / service.
