Job descriptionMicrosoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) ProjectWise-style document systems No CAD required A supportive, collaborative team of ~20 engineers Operations, reliability engineering, external vendors & contractors High ownership : multiple projects, significant budgets Dynamic, hands-on work in a 24 / 7 plant environment Opportunity to support a site transitioning to natural gas in 2025 Never a dull day—ideal for problem solvers and doers Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil or related) 2+ years engineering or plant / industrial experience Strong multitasking, communication, and contractor management skills Project management experience (scope, cost, schedule) FE exam is a plus Some travel between plant sites Virtual interviews (1–2 rounds), ASAP start Open to candidates willing to relocate
A power generation group is looking for a Engineering project manager in practice. You’ll support capital projects across multiple generating facilities, managing up to 20 small projects while also contributing to larger base and major capital efforts.
What You’ll Do
- Lead cradle-to-grave project management for plant capital projects
- Develop scopes, specs, budgets, and project justifications
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, consulting engineers, and plant operations
- Oversee field execution and attend daily POD meetings
- Work onsite 3 days / week (up to 5 during execution phases)
