About the Role

The Company is seeking an SVP for Alternative Investments in Private Markets to provide strategic leadership for the Private Markets Alternatives team. This pivotal role is focused on supporting the operational and platform needs of the company's expanding alternative investments business. The successful candidate will be a trusted leader with a solution-oriented approach, dedicated to driving process improvements, managing risk, and fostering a culture of education and innovation in private markets. Key responsibilities include setting the strategic direction for the team, leading day-to-day management, and ensuring the team is equipped to meet the end-to-end investment process of private credit, private equity, and real assets. The role also involves significant business partnership, platform modernization, talent development, and stewardship.

Applicants for the SVP position must have a Bachelor’s degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred) and at least 15 years of experience in financial services operations, with a strong background in private markets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the investment process for private credit, private equity, and real assets, and a proven track record in leading teams with a focus on operational excellence. Experience in investment operations, including trade operations, corporate actions, cash management, fund accounting, and financial reporting, is essential. The role requires a leader who can design and execute transformation programs, build positive relationships at all levels, and effectively negotiate solutions across a variety of investment products. The candidate should be adept at managing competing priorities, and motivating teams, and be committed to the values of the company, including diversity, inclusion, and a passion for driving innovation.
