Description :
We are actively seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair a variety of production and plant facility equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform maintenance activities on automated robotic welding equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment, such as lubrication, checking and testing
- Dissemble / assemble of machinery and equipment for replacement of defective components and / or sub-assemblies.
- Repair machinery and equipment using a variety of hand and power tools, such as grinders, torches, hammers, and wrenches
- Collaborate with Production Engineer to modify Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Make adjustments and verify operation of machinery and equipment
- Test machinery / equipment after repair to ensure proper operation
- Record and maintain records of checks, tests, repairs, and parts numbers needed
- Assist manager with ordering parts, standardizing components, and maintaining inventories
- Assist with mechanical rebuilds, installations, and moves
- Utilize mathematical calculations and read diagrams, manuals, and blueprints
- Respond to production machine down calls in timely fashion
- Order spare parts as needed for equipment
- Follow standard work instructions
- Perform other duties assigned

3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance with heavy industrial machines / production machinesProgrammable Logic Controllers (PLC) modification experience requiredExperience with robotics, PLC, and automation systemsWorking knowledge of spot, MIG and TIG weldingExperience with safe operation of overhead Cranes & heavy loadsMust be able to speak and read basic English to comply with position, Safety, Plant & PPE procedures & requirementsMust be willing to cross-trainMust be able to work company’s required overtimeMust comply with FIC’s Attendance and Punctuality PolicyPay Range $22 / hour - $35 / hour, based on qualifications and experience
Additional Compensation We operate two shifts and 2nd Shift employees are given a $1 / hour shift differential
