As a Neurology Physician, you will perform locum PRN shifts in southern and western Montana, conducting non-treatment exams focused on neurological conditions. The role involves handling health assessments for veterans, primarily through interview-based tests and physical assessments without prescribing or treating patients. Ideal candidates will be board certified and possess a willingness to obtain DMA certification while using a personal laptop for documentation.

Job details :

• Start : As soon as credentialing is complete
• Able to work weekends, if desired / needed
• Two (2) options for coverage : Travel and perform exams at VES leased facility and / or schedule Veterans within your own practice
• Option to work days(4-hours) and / or full days(8-hours)
• One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments
• Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment : range of motion testing, muscle strength testing, evaluating traumatic brain injury. Exams will be a mix of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury.
• No prescribing, no treatment
• DMA certification available (can get CME credits) will need to obtain once privileged if not already certified
• Use of Goniometer required
• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
• Own personal laptop (NO MACs)
