TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Birmingham, Alabama, 35209!

Pay Information

$1,782 per week

About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : RN

Specialty : NICU I

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night Shift

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum years experience required

License : Required

Certifications : BLS, NRP

Must-Have :

  • Ability to work every other weekend

Description :

The position requires a registered nurse in a neonatal intensive care unit.

Common diagnoses include respiratory distress.

The unit has 43 beds and 32 rooms.

The normal nurse to patient ratio is 3 : 1.

In higher acuity situations, the ratio can be 2 : 1 or 1 : 1.

Occasionally, there may be lower acuity assignments with a ratio of 4 : 1.

Charting is conducted using Cerner.

Special procedures include arterial sticks, maintenance of cooling blankets, chest tubes, and PIV.
