Overview
Senior Online Ed Administrator (Executive Director of Marketing & Growth-Online College) directs the development, implementation and marketing of major online learning initiatives within the Online College for Career Advancement (OCCA) at Valdosta State University.
Job Summary
Oversees the development, implementation and marketing of major online learning initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Leadership, Direction, and Supervision 20% : Provide administrative leadership and direct the human, financial, and other resources needed to accomplish department objectives.
- Manage Operations 20% : Oversee operations of mission-critical systems, programs or functions.
- Marketing 20% : Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan, marketing and promotional campaigns, public relations events, etc.
- Subject-Matter Expert 15% : Serve as a subject-matter expert on trends in student recruitment and retention programs.
- Collaboration 10% : Collaborate with leadership on planning and program improvements.
- Manage Budget 10% : Manage the department / unit budget.
- Policy and Procedure 5% : Establish and administer policies and procedures within the unit and system standards.

Department / Program
The Online College for Career Advancement (OCCA) advising area engages directly with online student prospects and current online students across 8 programs. The team supports students' program maps, registration, and coordination with academic affairs, admissions, financial aid, and related areas to support online student success.
