Your role as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will include :
Implementing in-home programs to assist patients with hearing, swallowing, and language impairmentsEvaluating speech and language abilities, identifying strengths and areas for improvement while conducting regular reevaluationsPlanning and delivering rehabilitative services tailored to speech and language disorders, utilizing appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic techniquesDocumenting treatment types and patient responses in clinical progress notes; maintaining comprehensive patient records, including summary reportsProviding education to caregivers and family members on how to support patients in improving, coping with, and accepting their disabilitiesQualifications to Join Our Team :
Education : Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology / Speech Therapy requiredLicensure : Current unrestricted license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the relevant stateCurrent CPR / AED / BLS / First Aid certificationReliable transportation to and from patient care and work locationsA minimum of one year of professional experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in home health or a similar environmentAt Interim HealthCare, we are dedicated to excellence in our services.
