We're looking for an experienced phlebotomist who’s confident, caring, and ready to support patients—especially those undergoing chemotherapy.
What You’ll Do
Perform blood draws using straight and butterfly needles, including hard-to-stick veins
Process specimens : label, centrifuge, split, freeze, and prepare for transport
Clearly explain the collection process to patients in a courteous, calming way
Ensure 100% accuracy when matching lab orders and labeling samples
Maintain and update patient records, answer calls, and share lab results
Follow OSHA and DEP safety protocols and attend annual training
What You’ll Need
Phlebotomy certification (valid in MD)
2+ years of experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
Confidence working with geriatric and oncology patients
Strong skills in specimen processing and data entry
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Work Environment
IOP Oncology clinic with a steady patient flow
You’ll be on your feet most of the shift
Patients are primarily older adults receiving cancer treatment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Annapolis, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr.
