A registered nurse with telemetry experience is needed for an engaging contract role in High Point, NC. This position focuses on providing high-quality care primarily for a medical-surgical telemetry patient population requiring strong clinical skills and adaptability. As a tele RN, you will work nights on a 3x12-hour shift schedule (7 : 00 p.m. 7 : 30 a.m.), including every other weekend and holiday rotations, with floating and charge nurse duties as needed.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry and medical-surgical patients.
Administer medications including heparin, insulin, and PCA.
Manage peripheral lines, start IVs, and monitor vital signs using telemetry equipment.
Utilize Rapid Response teams as necessary.
Implement isolation precautions appropriately.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
May function as Charge RN when required.
Qualifications & Experience
Registered Nurse with minimum 2 years telemetry or medical-surgical telemetry experience (no first-time travelers).
Current BLS certification required.
Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
Ability to pass Pass / Fail EKG exam required during onboarding.
Demonstrated flexibility with scheduling; punctuality and attendance are critical.
Strong clinical skills in blood product administration and line care.
Schedule
Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7 : 00 p.m. 7 : 30 a.m.).
Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Floating ability required.
