A global financial institution in Washington, DC is seeking a contractor to support their Murex transition project, with a focus on treasury accounting and back‑office operations. Experience with Murex is preferred, but a strong accounting background with exposure to financial instruments such as bonds and derivatives is required.

Responsibilities :

• Support the transition of accounting workflows and treasury processes from Summit to Murex.
• Configure and validate Murex accounting modules to ensure accurate general ledger entries.
• Execute and document testing for accounting workflows, including accruals, amortizations, and settlements.
• Maintain and verify accounting data for bonds, derivatives, and other treasury products.
• Assist with automation, reconciliation, and reporting for general ledger and financial instruments.
