Screen Press Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY :

Cole Graphic Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Screen Press Assistant to join our dynamic team! In this hands-on role, you'll be assisting the lead operator on our 6-color Carousel Screen Printing press, and other specialized machinery, to ensure every project meets our high-quality standards. With a focus on accuracy and craftsmanship, you'll play a vital role in the output of unique products. As you grow with us, you'll have the opportunity to expand your skills to become an operator of this 6-color press as well as other printing and finishing equipment, furthering your expertise in this exciting field. This position offers a blend of technical work and creative craftsmanship in a supportive, team-oriented environment where your contributions make a visible impact.

Cole is focused on leveraging our existing assets to generate above-market returns for the Puyallup Tribe and our strategic partners. We are looking for highly motivated professionals with proven technical, strategic, and analytical skills. This critical role will support our manufacturing division, as we continue to grow and diversify our business.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Excellent attendance for all scheduled shifts
• Assist the press operator with daily setup, operation, and cleanup of the press
• Load and unload substrates (vinyl, polycarbonate, Sintra, etc.) to / from press
• Mix, stage, and maintain inks as directed
• Ensure materials and screens are prepared and registered correctly
• Monitor print runs for quality consistency, color accuracy, and proper curing
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of press equipment and work area
• Follow all safety procedures and support a clean, organized production floor
• Support other screen and digital press operations as needed
• Troubleshoot any issues both independently as well as part of a team, and facilitate timely and accurate resolution
• Identify opportunities for improvements, identify potential areas of risk, and promptly share critical business information with key stakeholders to maximize results throughout Cole
• Coordinate effective teamwork and use all company resources efficiently to promote superior financial results for Cole; maintain Cole equipment and assets to maximize ROI
• Establish and maintain effective business relationships with all employees, vendors, business partners, government / regulatory entities, and communities in which we operate
• Strictly enforce workplace safety measures; safeguard the welfare of all employees, guests, visitors, and business partners at all times; promptly report workplace risks, incidents, injuries, and near misses; consistently wear and utilize all required PPE
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all sensitive and proprietary business information and safeguard Cole assets at all times
