Description : Job Summary :

The Production Assembler is responsible for sub-assemblies, final assembly, and quality of product for the customer. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints and technical documents to ensure accuracy and quality. The ideal candidate will have experience using hand tools and machines to assemble products with a focus on quality.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assemble hose and cable reels according to instructions and specifications
• Assemble sub-assemblies and stage for final assembly
• Assist with powder coating products to ensure durability and longevity
• Prepare raw materials for production, including measuring and cutting materials
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance to ensure they meet customer specifications
• Maintain detailed production records and complete necessary documentation
• Follow safety procedures and standard operating procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Ensure a clean and organized work area in compliance with company standards
• Work collaboratively with engineering and quality teams to optimize efficiency
• Assist with cross-functional tasks
• Other Duties as assigned.

Work Environment & Conditions :

The Production Assembler works in a production environment with exposure to tools, machinery and assembly equipment. The role involves standing, lifting, bending and handling assemblies for most of the shift. This role requires manual dexterity to assemble the product. PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed footwear, is required in designated work areas. This is a physically active role that requires teamwork, flexibility and a attention to quality.
