The Preconstruction Manager leads all preconstruction activities — from concept through turnover — ensuring each project’s vision, cost, and constructability align with both client and company objectives. This role partners closely with development, design, and operations teams to deliver accurate budgets, schedules, and proposals while driving innovation, client trust, and team collaboration.

Job Details

• Lead the preparation of conceptual and schematic budgets, cost models, and proposals
• Collaborate with development and design teams to align project goals, design intent, and cost targets
• Manage subcontractor bid solicitations, bid reviews, and scope evaluations
• Conduct constructability reviews, value engineering, and cost analyses to improve feasibility
• Support business development with RFP strategies, pursuit planning, and client presentations
• Maintain accurate historical cost data and ensure preconstruction tools and templates are continuously improved
• Mentor and guide estimating staff, fostering professional growth and accountability
• Serve as a key client liaison during early project stages, ensuring trust, clarity, and satisfaction
• Partner with operations teams for seamless project handoffs and continuity through construction
• Champion innovation by applying digital tools, BIM, and data analytics to improve preconstruction accuracy
