Qualifications and Requirements :

As a Veterinary Technician Professional you already have a pretty good idea as to the day-to-day requirements of being a talented Veterinary Technician. Here are some of the key skills that we are seeking that are relevant to this opportunity :

• RVT or equivalent certification
• 1+ years of experience working as a Vet Technician
• Proficiency with surgery, anesthesia, diagnostic imaging and dentistry
• Venipuncture and IV Catheter Placement
• Vaccine and Preventative knowledge
• Medication dispensing and administering
• Collection and analysis of lab samples
• Efficiency and time management skills, as well as the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment while keeping a keen attention to detail

Core Responsibilities :

The primary purpose and function of the Veterinary Technician is to support Veterinarians in ensuring quality veterinary care, advocating for pets and educating clients.
