Position Summary
THE FOCUS IS YOU
The Software Solution Senior is a key member of the Client Accounting Advisory Services team responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality accounting software solutions. This role requires a technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative accounting software solutions that meet client needs. The Software Solution Senior will also provide guidance and mentorship to associate team members.
- Must have Sage Intacct Experience
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Regular duties include (but are not limited to) :
Lead the design and configuration of accounting software modules or applications, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practicesCollaborate with product managers and business analysts to gather software requirements and translate them into technical designsDevelop and maintain an understanding of accounting principles and practices to effectively design and implement software solutions for accounting workflowsProvide training to end users on software features and functionalitiesPrepare comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, guides, and training materials, to support software implementation and usageProvide ongoing technical support to clients through various channels, including phone, email, and remote access and use of the support ticketing system (Issuetrak)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute software testing strategies, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of accounting software solutionsStay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends in accounting software to contribute to the continuous improvement of software offeringsTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to accounting software implementation, data integration, and system performanceCollaborate with product managers and stakeholders to prioritize software features and enhancements based on client needs and market demandsParticipate in the life cycle of a software implementation and support, including requirements analysis, estimation, planning, and release managementConduct Software demonstrations, create pricing quotes, draft engagement lettersAssist with Software Vendor invoice processing / allocations for client billingSupervisory responsibilities

Required education and experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, accounting information systems, or relevant, hands-on accounting system implementation experience3+ years of relevant experienceCurrent experience and technology skills using Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, or similar accounting softwareProficient with using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Preferred education and experience
Advanced degree or relevant certificationsOther duties
