Fire Alarm & Security Alarm Technician Instructor

Job Description

Lincoln Tech in Union, NJ is seeking Fire Alarm & Security Alarm System Technicians to teach students in our Electrical and Electronics Systems program. No prior teaching experience is necessary, we will provide the tools you need to become a successful instructor. Key Qualifications

3+ years’ experience in the Security Alarm industry.

• Wired and Wireless Intrusion Systems installation and programming
• Install and configure CCTV and Access Control Systems
• Knowledge of other Fire Alarm Systems a plus
• Knowledge of Codes
• NICET Certified a plus

Responsibilities

• Teach and provide hands-on training in Electrical and Electronics Systems in our fully equipped facility.
• Facilitate and effectively deliver Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum.
• Support and motivate student growth, professionalism, and accountability,
• Evaluate and communicate progress with students.
• Teach students about the importance of safety and compliance.

• Teaching experience a plus
• High school diploma/GED
