The Urology Role : 175 bedsTrauma level IIIScheduled clinical hours + callOffice / clinic outpatientMix : 98% adult, 2% PEDS (not required to see PEDS)6 total rooms : 3 exam, 3 procedureAverage daily patients : 16+Hospital-based surgeries : 3-6, may varyEMR : Office / Clinic - Allscripts, Hospital - MeditechCases : General adult procedures : ENDO, laparoscopic, Percutaneous Neph, ureteroscopy, radical cystectomy & prostatectomy, nephrectomy, renal & bladder, TRUS, fertility, incontinenceEquipment : GOBY Urodynamics SystemOlympus flexible scopesRigid scopesRectal US for TRUS biopsy and fiduciary marker placementMedivator sterilization systemAll power exam procedure tablesRequired : CA state license; active, unrestrictedBoard certified in Urology; welcomes board eligible (2-5 years post training)DEA, BLS, FLURO (attach a copy with bid)Credentialing average : 45 daysCompensation : Competitive market rate (based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)Malpractice insurance providedSchedule : Seeking only ONE physician start date ASAPAvailability needs : 1-2 weeks (7-14 days) per monthOffice / Clinic : (either Mon-Thurs or) Tues-Fri; 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (days / times may vary)Call schedule : 7-10 days per month including weekends (dates will vary)Hospital-based surgery days : Mon & Thurs; 7 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM (days / times may vary)Scenario : If taking call during a clinic week, shifts will be regular hours during the day (M-F) and night call each weekday night.
