Position Summary :
The manufacturing supervisor provides technical support to manufacturing operations to ensure equipment uptime, optimal layout, tools, fixtures, and machine performance for low-cost, high-quality products.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
Employees must follow safe work practices and adhere to company policies and procedures related to safety. All duties should be performed ethically and professionally, seeking clarification when needed from superiors or authorized representatives.
- Facilitate employee training programs.
- Maintain accurate weekly records of hours worked, including overtime, vacation, and absences.
- Manage work cell equipment and resources to meet throughput, shipping, and productivity targets.
- Use reports such as Daily Flex and Staffing Reports to plan personnel needs.
- Prioritize and complete past due work orders using the Priority Dispatch Report.
- Communicate daily results and challenges during the Line Walk.
- Schedule and assign personnel to complete production plans.
- Coordinate with the Area / Operations Manager to resolve operational issues.
- Identify and address internal quality issues, participating in MRB meetings.
- Ensure safety regulations are observed, correct hazards, and report them to EHS.

Bachelor's degree in business or mechanical engineering preferred; 4+ years supervisory experience in aerospace manufacturing acceptable in lieu of degree.At least 4 years of experience leading a team of 20+ individuals.2+ years of scheduling / planning experience, preferably in aerospace.Experience in forge industry or overseeing grinding, heat treating, machining, or inspection is a plus.Physical Demands :
Regularly required to stand, handle, reach, talk, hear, and smell. Frequently walk; occasionally sit. Must lift / move up to 35 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, color, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Work Environment :
Exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
