Job Title : Certified Catholic School Teacher Exemption Status : Exempt

Job Classifications :

• Certified Teacher : Has an Arizona Standard Professional Teaching Certificate through the AZ Department of Education that is current and in good standing. The position classification is Certified Teacher and the pay classification for payroll purposes is Teacher on Contract. To remain on contract the teacher must maintain the certification current and in good standing.
• Certified Teacher : Has an Alternative Teacher Certificate through the AZ Department of Education. The position classification is Certified Teacher Pathway and the pay classification for payroll purposes is Teacher on Contract. To remain on contract the teacher must maintain the certification current and in good standing.

Department / Location : St. Augustine Catholic High School / Tucson

Primary Function : Under the direction of the school principal is responsible for supporting the Diocese of Tucson in its mission to evangelize catechize and educate youth in a Catholic School environment. The teacher shall be a minister of the Gospel and Catholic Teaching both academically and behaviorally while at work and in his / her personal life Live in a manner worthy of the call you have received. (Eph. 4 : 1)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of this Ministerial Position :

Physical / Mental Requirements : The Teacher shall have and demonstrate coordination and manual dexterity normal mental and visual capabilities and the ability to lift as required in a normal office environment.

Required Activities : Walking sitting standing stooping reaching talking handling hearing carrying and keyboarding.
