Your Opportunity :

Stantec is seeking a Project Engineer - Roadway in our Clearwater, Florida office. We seek a team player who desires a highly collaborative work environment, has excellent client and communication skills, and strong design capabilities. We seek a candidate with expertise with highly complex and specialized roadway and drainage design including limited access tolled and non-tolled facilities and arterial roadway design.

Your Key Responsibilities :

• Responsible for design and post design efforts on roadway and / or drainage plans.
• Engineer roadway and drainage design projects including limited access tolled, interstate, rural and urban roadway reconstruction, resurfacing, complete streets, and trail / sidewalk projects.
• Lead production teams in roadway plans preparation and development efforts.
• Prepare geometric analysis and calculations in support of designs and establish design criteria, methods, practices, and procedures.
• Review plans for conformance with scope of services and design standards.
• May be responsible for the review and sealing of own projects.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
• Interaction with Stantec clients, including marketing efforts.
• Develop and / or review policies, methods, practices, and procedures; and review plans for conformance with FDOT, County, and municipal design standards and criteria.

Pay Transparency : In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
