Location : Salt Lake City, UT. The Quality Auditor reports to the Quality Compliance Specialist. The role involves reviewing, analyzing, and initiating actions as needed to improve the manufacturing process, ensuring all processes comply with the necessary quality standards and procedures. Under close supervision, the Auditor inspects electronic systems, assemblies, subassemblies, components and parts for conformance to specifications.

Typical Day

• Perform visual inspections of servers, racks, and components to ensure compliance with established reliability and workmanship specifications.
• Utilize gauges, templates, microscopes, and other manufacturing aids to verify product specifications.
• Ensure all required process operations are completed on inspected products at Quality stations.
• Monitor and report quality metrics to meet business needs.
• Prepare reject reports by identifying necessary follow-up information and notifying involved parties.
• Assist with the disposition of non-conforming materials and products.
• Notify appropriate personnel of unusual product defects or process yields falling below acceptable levels.
• Conduct process audits and assist manufacturing in interpreting quality and workmanship standards.
