In this role, you will :
- Inspect, test, adjust, calibrate, and repair electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems.
- Monitor meters, indicators, and gauges to identify and resolve any irregularities.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections on all control instrumentation.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures.
- Maintain clear records and complete work order cycles, including documenting time spent and equipment history.
- Diagnose potential issues with plant electrical equipment and address them proactively.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in your work area, promoting good housekeeping practices.
What we're looking for :
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.A minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers, Servo, and Frequency Drives.A commitment to safety and the wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues.Willingness to work shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.At Drax, we offer a competitive hourly wage, beginning with great benefits and a 401K matching plan from your first day.
