Job descriptionOperate scrap Grapple cranes to load and unload trucks and containers. Use crane to move materials throughout facility / yard. Recognize and remove contaminating materials. Recognize and separate different grades of scrap. Other duties as assigned. Experience operating Grapple cranes. Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to stand; climb; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, work outdoors & exposed to all weather elements. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. Saturdays are required

Venture Metals + is a fast-growing, metal recycling company looking to grow our team with a Crane Operator (Scrap Grapple) at our McKinney Location .
- This is not an overhead crane position

Monday to Friday : 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm and Saturday : 8 : 00am - 12 : 00pm
Please note you WILL work outdoors. You must be able to work under the elements.
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Location : In person
